Dr. Kenneth Abramovitch received his DDS from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and his MS in Oral Diagnostic Sciences from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Medicine. Currently he is Head of the Oral Radiology Section in the Department.
Dr. Abramovitch is a Director of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He is a Past-President of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and a Past-President of the Southwestern Society of Oral Medicine. He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of the Greater Houston Dental Society. Dr. Abramovitch’s current research projects are:
- 3D cephalometric evaluations from CBCT
- Effective doses comparisons for CBCT scans
He recently co-authored a pocket atlas on Cone Beam CT of the Head and Neck.
