The Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level as Chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. Responsibilities will include oversight of all academic and clinical matters in the Department, leading the department's predoctoral and postdoctoral educational programs, didactic and clinical teaching at both the predoctoral and postdoctoral level, coordinating and participating in a strong research program, and contributing to school-wide efforts.
Minimally, candidates should possess a DMD, DDS or its equivalent, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Pediatric Dentistry, a Master of Science degree or its equivalent, and a proven track record in research. The successful applicant will have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications, leadership skills, a significant track record in teaching and scholarly achievement, and a commitment to diversity and social justice. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with credentials and experience.
